Great article 👏

I haven't bought anything from an influencer marketing probably cause I'm too stingy with money lmao 🤣 .

There's certain "forex traders" in my country that have built there whole status around this , one hiring local blogs on various social media sites to cover them sorta like politicians eg ' Forex trader X has bought a 20 M house ' some useless controversial stuff so that they can gain more followers ---> more pigs to scam

Yupp, unfortunately this is a common practice where markets are easily influenced by unverified claims. Stay safe!

Perhaps I am just suspicious because there isn't one influencer or celebrity or anyone else that could influence my purchase. Say a computer is now essential, then I go onto different electronic shops to compare the specifications. Never would I accept, say, Clarins or Clinique makeup as I am allergic to them, and discovered this at shop counters to try out!

Doing your own research and questioning everything is the way.

You are right on track.

Ever since I read this post, I am unable to see everything you mentioned.

Everywhere, I am noticing something is being quietly sold to the consumer.

This has opened my eyes -- Awesome post!!!

Believing someone on YouTube or Twitter is a hard pass for me.

Marketing is a science indeed but it's been hijacked by ruthless players who use psychological language to trigger people in buying useless things.

It's one thing to sell what you have laying around on your house or a course that's you're truthful about it and another selling illusions and hot air ideas.

Yupp, especially how dark marketing and dark patterns have taken over everything we use these days. And what do you know, we did cover that in the past :D

that's right - we have entered an era where exploiting people is packaged and sold as "honest reviews"
