I really couldn’t say when think these humanoid robots will be in every home.
However, what I do think (with my human brain) is that for all the top bosses in companies who are planning to replace workforce humans with robots for increased productivity and profits - they should also think about their own Jobs too…because once the robots are at a certain level of competence , their job possibilities will be endless.
Well non humanoid robots are already pretty common in factories and have impacted a lot of jobs. Especially in fields like auto manufacturing. Humans are still important for oversight though, AI may impact that as well. Let's see.
But here, the 'humanoid' robots are more targeted at home as a product.
We kept one thing out of this article because it felt too much to add in, but just this year Apple proved that emotions in humanoid robots is something that is working for the home.
Exactly, the automation blade cuts both ways. If these robots actually do all the things that these big guys are promising us, then no role is truly safe, including the roles of the ones calling the shots, but again, that's the thing with AI as well.
Some people are using it as a leverage against the system to climb even higher, in the case of humanoid robots, it might play out like that as well.... only time can tell what's gonna happen and what's not.
And yeah, as I said, right now these robots can't clean the shelf without crashing into someone's cat, so they aren't gonna be a thing for a while (at least that's what I think)

I can see how that works and I have to admit the apple lamp made me smile 😊
As for factories and non humanoid robots, they’re supervised by us humans now, I’m just not convinced that will always be the case - time will tell!
Thanks for sharing those links 🙂

So that's the freaky bit I suppose.
Thanks for the comment :D
