Do you believe it will be the end of $BTC? Because I do. Honestly, I see it as the biggest risk of holding Bitcoin and the only option by which it can plummet to nearly $0 in a day.
There is a bitcoin miners proposal for a cipher upgrade at the ready. I think the consensus was AES-256 was enough. But they are ready to move forward with an upgrade if it gets close or an attack is demonstrated. 70% of miners last i heard.
So I think the price would take a hit, we’d split the chain, but long term survive. But it could be an event big enough to break trust, or go 5050 and break down..
interesting convo going on here - I haven't looked into all of this, the only thing I know is that crypto is at risk too but mitigations for that are also on the way - so, I think it's just people hyping that quantum is gonna break crypto.

To be honest, most of the people who read this organically; might already be well equipped to stay safe on the internet. But the goal here is for you to share this knowledge and pass it forward to those who might not be.
