Thank you for your considered reply. Yes, I do not trust any banking app on any phone. Yes, it makes it very easy to steal from us when we try to live our ordinary lives.
If the banks were more proactive in protecting us instead of hiding behind 'protocols' I may, just may, consider having it.
But, with all the venture capitalists and hedge funders asset stripping every possible working organisation and deliberately paying any employees too little to survive they are directly responsible for the desperation and widespread theft.
Employers, CEOs and government officials have never realised they're actually dealing with human beings (but they would never work any machine the way they force people to because, horror, they'd have to purchase a replacement, and spending money is like drawing blood).
In most modern countries, you are basically handicapped without using tech like smartphones and stuff. Coz they have made it so that it's heavily and deeply integrated to every day life. From paying bills to ordering food - it has become significantly harder to be someone who doesn't want to be digital.
Going to the woods is always an option I guess :p but with trends like glamping and satellite internet, I am not sure they will be safe from prying eyes either lol.
Well, there is a reason why I prefer Iphone :)
They are much more secure… but doesn’t mean they are not vulnerable….
What do u think?
The only way to avoid vulnerability in this case is not to have a phone at all.
It’s always just about lowering the risk by increasing the required effort.
Isolation also helps, having multiple phone for multiple purposes.
True. It will definetely lower the risk!
Now you know why I refuse to have any banking app on my phone...
Unfortunately, how most banks are evolving, pretty soon it won’t be possible to bank conveniently without a phone app.
If you’re too concerned, the best approach I suggest folks is to have 2 phones.
1 with your banks and comms only. No social media, 3rd party apps, etc etc.
And 1 phone as u would normally use but never use banking on it.
Full on bycott isn’t gonna be the reliable option with tech - better to learn to isolate and control what you can.

This is our microcosm we're forced to accept'.
Yeap, pretty much.

Yes, you're correct. A computer is fine for the important and critical work. But a phone is for communication ( at least in my world).
Thanks for the comment : )
